Cruise Into Jamaica

There are a plethora of things to see and do in Jamaica’s Montego Bay and one way of getting a taste for the idyllic Caribbean hideaway is on a cruise around the region.

Montego Bay is the second largest city in Jamaica and you have the chance to see what a picturesque and vibrant place it is by taking a trip there courtesy of Royal Caribbean cruises.

What to see

It should not be difficult to work out what to do when on a luxury Caribbean island – the sun, sea and sand generally dictates that you will spend a lot of time catching some rays at the water’s edge.

But in order to do this in style, you will require some comfortable and spectacular beaches – this is where Montego Bay comes into its own.

Whether it is Laughing Waters beach, the Doctors Cave Beach Club or any of the other options along the shore, it is likely you will have an enjoyable time watching the world go by in this bustling part of the Caribbean Sea.

The latter involves visitors navigating a cave to find the sand and it has been said in the past that the water which brushes against the sandy shore has special healing powers.

Whichever beach option you choose during your time in Montego Bay, you will have the opportunity to sit back and relax in what is frequently gloriously sunny weather.

Dunn’s River Falls Park

Dunn’s River Falls Park is an area of Montego Bay that has grown in popularity over the years.

Its waterfalls and wide array of flora and fauna make it a beautiful place to relax in or explore.

What else is on offer?

Jamaica is famous for its general laid-back attitude to life, which is partly helped by the calming beats of the reggae music you will hear and the weather on the island – why not experience it all for yourself by taking a Caribbean cruise?

As well as Montego Bay, Royal Caribbean cruises take in places such as Mexico and the capital of Grand Cayman, George Town. Starting off from Texas, these trips can really give you a flavour of the whole region in one spectacular journey.
