Delectable and Surprisingly Easy Crab Recipes

It's a very familiar scenario: you've been invited to some sort of party
or luncheon, need to bring a dish, and are preparing the shopping list to
head to the grocery store and whip up your signature dish. Only, sometimes,
doesn't that get a little bit old? It can be fun for all sorts of chefs,
whether those aspiring at home or those who work professionally, to branch
out and try something new. This is exciting not just for the chef, but also
for those who will be dining, too!

An often-ignored category of seafood, crab can be just what a dinner
table or appetizer tray needs to brighten up the party. Whether it's the
decadence of some stone crab claws or a delicious and light version of
crabcakes using snow crab, it's a simple way to make a spread look all the
more impressive. Here are a couple of
Crab Recipes that
promise deliciousness and ease of preparation alike.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, then toss the mushrooms and
the olive oil together in a medium-size mixing bowl. Season them
thoroughly with salt and pepper, then lay them out on a baking sheet,
stem side up. Be sure to not crowd them. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees
for 10 minutes.

While the mushrooms are in the oven, stir together the
cooked crab meat, green onion, cream cheese, and some more salt and
pepper. Preheat your boiler, and remove the mushrooms from the oven.

Divide the crab stuffing between the baked mushroom caps, topping
each cap with some shredded Parmesan cheese. Broil for three minutes, or
until the cheese is bubbling and the stuffing is thoroughly heated.
Remove from the broiler, plate, and serve!
